Youth Surf Filmmaking Program – Homeschooling & Surfing

Are you a young surf enthusiast curious about filmmaking? Join us to create a 5-minute short film exploring the world of homeschooling and surfing, and see your work featured in the Noosa Surf Film Festival 2026!

Program Details:

• When: Mondays, 4-hour lessons, starting April 20 – 10-week program

• Where: Noosa Parks Association, 5 Wallace Drive, Noosa

• Weekend Filming: Fortnightly sessions at Noosa and Sunshine Beach, weather permitting

• Cost: $300 per term, paid in advance

• Who: kids aged 13 - 16 years

• Equipment: No equipment needed – just bring your enthusiasm!

What You’ll Learn:

• Storyboarding & planning your film

• Narration & storytelling techniques

• Filming & cinematography

• Sound recording & editing

• Video editing & post-production
